How to Make a Passive Income at Home Now?
Start a passive income with an affiliate marketing business. Many people have and do enter into the affiliate marketing arena because they believe it’s a way to get rich quick and that it is an easy online business to get up and running. It is that thinking that causes those people to fail.
As an affiliate marketer, you can learn how to make a passive income at home, but initially, you have to do your work! You can’t just wriggle your nose and everything falls into place. Producing passive income will not happen overnight. It just won’t.
It is not impossible to become successful by learning how to generate a passive income online. You will have to figure out a method to sustain your earnings without working really hard for the next 30 years.
If you are required to work hard every day to maintain a certain income level, that is considered making active income. Passive income is when the earnings keep coming in even when you are not doing any work to maintain it. Believe me, you really can earn a passive income with affiliate marketing.
Passive income is when you don’t have to do too much work to keep up a cash flow. However, things do need to be done for the passive income system to work. In a sense, you are really farming out certain activities instead of doing them yourself.

How an Affiliate Marketer Delegates Job Tasks
The first thing that needs to be done is to create a website. You could create and design it yourself if you had the expertise to do so. If you don’t, you would have to farm that task out. Sometimes there are companies that will create a site for you (been there, done that and it isn’t a good look!) or will guide you through the process.
You will need to write content for the website. Again, if you aren’t a writer, you could farm it out to a ghostwriter. Once you have the articles written, you will need to get them distributed somehow. The best way to get that done is to delegate that task to technology. This is the best part. All you will need to do is publish the articles to a web server and technology will do the rest.
Technology plays an essential part in the passive income structure. We use technology to communicate. You are farming out the tasks to those who have built, designed and maintained the equipment that your communication passes through. You are not the one who actually pays those people but they are working for you all the time.
As an affiliate marketer, you can farm out customer service, the order process, and shipping to another company. A prime example of that would be to use Amazon’s affiliate program to sell stuff. In actuality, you are successfully farming out an important part of your work directly to Amazon. In this example, for you, the sale is “passive” because it is Amazon that does all the hard labor for you to earn an affiliate commission.
The bottom line for an affiliate marketer is that after the initial set up, (that will require some hard work) they need to make sure that the active workloads are delegated to someone else, leaving them to enjoy a regular passive income that allows them the freedom to do more of whatever they enjoy doing.
Borrow or Create from Scratch?
Creating everything yourself as an affiliate marketer can take an awful lot of hard work. This will also delay the amount of time before the income can start to generate. The most effective way is to borrow ideas from others. By “borrowing” I mean to gain influence from what other entrepreneurs may be doing.
Creating a new product takes a lot more time and hard work.
No reason to start from scratch when the templates have already been developed. There are more than enough resources out there where people teach you what they do. Sometimes they will give it to you for free and sometimes you have to pay for it. Finding out what other successful people do and then using similar techniques for yourself will save you an incredible amount of time and effort. You can then learn from what others do and not from your own mistakes.
A good quality passive income structure will produce results. I believe that for your first attempt at passive income it is a lot simpler to borrow someone else’s system. Managing too many details yourself will hurl you back into the territory of active income (the hard work zone).
Stay away from plagiarism. Its okay to get ideas from others but don’t mimic them because you may have trouble down the road. I get many ideas from other people. But, I take those ideas and see how I can make them my own. That is, I modify aspects of what others do and make changes that will better fit my circumstances. But, it helps to not have to build the initial foundation that has already been built for me.

Excellent overview Verna and i wholeheartedly agree with your sentiments. Too many people see $ signs in their eyes when the concept of passive income is raised. They are lazy and don’t want to put in the time and effort to be good ata ffiliate marketing and when they fail, they look for excuses or even worse – tear down those who have succeeded.
I think if they just embrace the core concept of truly wanting to help people instead of making money then as Kyle said in one of the training videos “the money will come”.

I really believe in being transparent when I talk about affiliate marketing. Part of the reason that many people fail in this business is because they are looking to get rich quick and are expecting major success overnight. It just doesn’t really happen that way and if it does, it is not the norm.
I do think that you can succeed as a part-time student, it may just take you longer. To be perfectly honest, in the beginning you will need to put a lot of time into getting your online business to a point of having a consistent income. You will need a lot time to invest in your business because you will need to write articles on a regular basis, market your business and follow through with many other tasks that are involved with affiliate marketing.
Once you get to a point of making a consistent income it will become easier to relax a little. But, while you are building, you will need to have a lot of patience, determination and self-motivation and a desire to not quit until you succeed.
I also think we each need to come to understand what our limitations are because there are various skills that would help us to move forward more easily. However, if we don’t have those skills we may need to consider outsourcing some of our tasks.
But yes, I think you could succeed in the affiliate marketing business. Don’t worry about how long it takes you to get there as long as you get there!! There are bound to be some obstacles along the way. Just tackle them one at a time and keep moving forward.
